Grow the Vine. Make the Wine.

Our vineyard is rooted in history and tradition, cultivated on land with a rich legacy.

Our Grandfather's farm. Once part of ancient Indian territories, as evidenced by the many arrowheads and Indiana mounds in the area, the farm was later divided by Treaty Line Road, marking the western frontier of the U.S.

It lies nestled along the White Water River, bordered by a certified forest, with a wildflower plantation to the north, and surrounded by the timeless beauty of Amish farms, with whom we proudly collaborate.

Though we didn’t grow up in Ole Cambridge City, our journey took us around the world as military brats and Navy pilots. Eventually, our passion for winemaking brought us back to this land—a state that, fittingly, is home to the first successful winery in the U.S., established in the early 1800s.

We believe, as any true European vigneron would, that fine wine begins in the vineyard.

Here in Indiana, where farming is a way of life, we nurture our vines with the same dedication and expertise that Hoosiers have applied to agriculture for generations.

Growing wine is a complex art, but making great wine from exceptional grapes is straightforward—ask anyone who knows.

Under the guidance of Fritz Westover and his Virtual Viticulture Academy, managed by Scott & Emma Eckart, and expertly farmed in partnership with our Amish vinedressers, we cultivate 8.5 acres of cold-hardy varieties.

Our vineyard, featuring Vignoles, Traminette, Melody, Aravelle (NY-81), Golden Muscat, Marquette, Landot Noir, Chambourcin, Chelois, and Regent, thrives in well-drained silty-loam soils with gentle slopes ranging from 2% to 10%.

Utilizing vertical shoot positioning (VSP) and cane pruning, our vines are carefully tended with drip irrigation and fertigation to ensure optimal growth.

Our vineyard is more than a place—it’s a promise to uphold the legacy of those who came before us and to craft wines that speak to the soul of this land.
