FAQs

What Are Y’all About?

In one word: Soul. We're dedicated to creating something truly authentic—wines that speak to the land and stand apart from the ordinary. No imitation here; we're crafting originals. We know this isn’t the path to quick riches, but money isn’t what drives us. We strive for purity and grace, aiming to create wines and experiences that leave a lasting impression, even if just for a fleeting moment, like an eclipse. We’re not chasing the impossible—we’re blending our passion, talent, magic, love, and a little luck, hoping our journey crosses paths with yours.

How Much Does It Cost?

Visiting the winery is free. Enjoy a flight of our seasonal offerings for $12-$15, or savor a glass for $10-$12. Our bottles range from $25 to $35, with cases priced around $300.

Why Is It So Expensive?

For what we offer, especially compared to California and Europe, our wines are a great value. We produce artisanal, small-batch, hand-crafted wines that are truly unique and of the highest quality. This level of craftsmanship comes with a cost. Our pricing reflects the care and effort put into each bottle, but because we operate on a small scale, production costs are higher. Even so, we strive to keep our wines as competitively priced as possible, considering the premium quality and rarity of what we create.

Do You Use All Your Own Grapes?

Our goal is to be 100% estate-grown by 2030, though this is no small feat. It takes years for vines to fully mature and yield a substantial crop, and while some of our varieties are thriving, we believe in focusing on what grows best. If one grape variety outshines the rest, we'd dedicate our entire estate to it, crafting only one or two exceptional wines from that grape.

Currently, as we continue to establish our vineyard, we do bring in some blending wines. However, we guarantee that every wine we produce contains at least 50% grapes from our vineyard, with a goal of keeping 75% or more of the blend sourced from our farm. We will never release a varietal wine from grapes that can’t thrive in our part of Indiana. Instead, we focus on locally grown hybrids that are not only more fun and interesting but also of higher quality than any vinifera wines currently grown in the region.

Do You Have a Wine Club?

Absolutely! We're excited to announce the upcoming launch of our wine club, designed to reward our loyal customers generously. As a member, you'll enjoy perks like complimentary tastings, discounts on bottles and cases, food savings, access to special wine releases, private tours, and exclusive member events. Plus, look forward to free merchandise, and eventually, wine storage in our exclusive barrel room wine vault, along with other exciting benefits.

Do You Have Food There?

We’re planning to offer delicious food options as part of our destination winery experience. While we don't have a kitchen just yet, we’re working on bringing locally prepared delights to our visitors soon. Expect to enjoy meat and cheese plates, chocolates, coffee, and even popcorn for the kids. We’re also excited about collaborating with food trucks in the future, so stay tuned!

When Can We Glamp/Camp There?

Not quite yet, but soon! We've set up one glamping tent as a proof of concept, and while we’re not certified yet, our goal is to expand with more glamping units and RV accommodations in the near future. We're working towards this as part of our master plan, so keep an eye out—‘Harvest Hosts,’ we’ve got you in our sights!

What Is There to Do Here?

We’re just getting started, but we’ve got big plans. For now, you can visit the winery, take a tour, sample our wines, stroll through the vineyards, enjoy a picnic, fish in the pond, hike through our forest, relax on the patio, or play games like cornhole and hammerschlagen. In the future, we’ll be adding camping, glamping, swimming, cookouts, bonfires, archery, visits to local Amish farms, trips to farmers markets, and much more.

Do You Offer Tours?

Yes, we do! As a small, family-owned operation, we love sharing our knowledge and experience with anyone who’s interested. Just ask, and we’ll be happy to give you a tour. You might even get a ride in the gator with Sasha, our golden retriever who thinks she runs the place. If all else fails, give me a call—Scott Eckart (owner) at 757-618-6642—and we’ll take care of you. Thank you kindly!
