2023 Pilgrimage Blanc

$28.99 / bottle

Vinification:

Vignoles is a late budding, mid to late ripening grape for the midwest, that can reach high brix levels, while retaining its acidic profile. This makes its highly suitable for off-dry, table wines with balanced acidity. These wines can age as well as any high end odd-dry aromatic white wine.

Vinified in separate lots, and blended mid-way through the winekmaing process, these wines were fermented cool using glycol jackets holding the fermenation at 55 degrees F for 4 weeks. The resulting wine is highly aromatic and lean. Stored in Staineless for 9 months prior to bottling, these wines were gently filtered once prior to bottling and completely unfined. Ready to drink and age for 1 to 10 years+.

Tasting Notes:

This vintage features Vignoles from both our estate as well as Morgen Vineyards and St Julien Winery. It also features our estate Melody and Golden Muscat. Highly aromatic, spicy and punchy with just the right amount of zip, these wines feature an extremely interesting grapefruit note on the nose along with big bright bursts of meyer lemon and lime.
